If there is somebody serious about continuing the project the way it was meant to be made we'd be more than happy to provide him with the what we had made.

That was a bit unexpected... but i'm happy to hear you want give the code away to someone trusted. I wouldn't do it myself.

Just to be honest,

If giving away the source code is too much pain, because the Devs spent thousands of hours into codes, IŽd rather suggest THEY finish it, or noone..

means, if DF, un4,...etc want to continue on TNL, go ahead! If not, let TNL rest in peace and dont give it away to anyone!;-)

I dont like to see such a great mod in hands of some (no offence) Rp-mods Deathmatch serverguy, who changes the whole mission into his style, which would lead into something TNL wasnt about!

Just my opinion

Hammer

Yeah, these guys aren't even familliar with Arma as far as I know, but they are serious modders, that means no retard kids fucking around doing BS. Have only been in touch with them very breifly and tbh it looks like they're going to be far to busy to even consider helping out on this. So like I said was a long shot. Didn't really expect much, since they both already are involved in making a mod at the moment which also requires a monumental amount of work (one of them also happens to be a fulltime game developper with kids and a wife too), and I don't expect it to be finished before at least a couple of years. So it would probably take that long before they would even consider it.
So there you have it, it's a no go. Worth a try, maybe some other fantastically skilled modders will want to help finish this...

Just so u know it, rp-mods quit due to lack of interest and stolen versions.
This TNL project deserves to be finished as said before due to so much time being spend on it by the guys, to garantee that u need a good quality team of developers.
But u can't have everything in life.
Maybe in a later stadium it can be finished if u guys find the time/interest in it.
I dont think giving it away without certain conditions and garantees would do any good.

Anyway big thanks to ya all who worked on it, it is/was a good utopia idea for a mod.

Expectable; as there's really no more use to this forum anymore, most of the community has moved to SLR.
The only thing that kept this forum running after the development of TNL was discontinued was the offtopic and some forum games (''guess what'', lol.).

The offtopic has moved to the SLR forums, which also provides similar forum games. There's really no reason to be here in TNL where everyone seems so quiet, when you can go check the SLR forums where you get replies nearly every 5 minutes.

Just so your aware Unforgiven was a developer for us in City Life for a few months known as Inventor, by no means left on bad terms and still a mystery why he did? And the rest I'm sure were in the group that made the unofficial SL:R mission, but not 100% sure on that.

Shame to see all these other RP mods go down the pan. I did offer Issetea a place with us but he didn't seem keen to use TS3 to talk to us as he had mumble?

I was from RP.mods. Sadly, they went down as you all know. I know this thread is long gone. I just want to say, if anyone can take this over please do. If this goes out the last line I know is City Life. I would pick up on the work if I could, but I'm not a map maker or anything like that. I wish you all luck. Because if this doesn't work the last thing I got is City Life.
